Wilton Road, Young People in Merton

The Wilton Road Young People’s  project became part of SPEAR in June 2011. It is a short-stay project for homeless young people aged 16-21 years.

Based in Merton, the project has 9 bedspaces in shared rooms. All residents work with a keyworker and are offered advice and referrals for housing and benefit, and start to address any support needs. Clients are encouraged to participate in education and training, and supported to gain employment.

MASH have been offering this service for more than 20 years, and SPEAR are proud to have started working with them. We hope that we will be able to support hundreds more young people in Merton through this service.
