SPEAR understands that everyone is individual and has different needs.

SPEAR makes every effort to provide a person-centred approach to help people to achieve their goals so that they can live an independent, fulfilling life.

The Community Development and Innovations Team focus on Skills Development and Wellbeing Improvement across the charity, providing training and resources for staff to provide the best service to their clients. We ensure that clients’ voices are heard through client involvement groups and feedback, and the Peer Mentoring training programme.

supports clients aged 16-25 to pursue work, training and education opportunities and to build their confidence.

PEER MENTORING

Since 2016, 23 people have enrolled on the Peer Mentoring course at SPEAR. 13 are qualified and 7 are still completing their course and awaiting future assessment.
