SPEAR is dynamic and unique – much like our employees. Their expertise and commitment has enabled SPEAR to thrive, despite the challenge in the sector of the growing rough sleeping population. One of the ways we achieve this is through a constant focus on improvement – thinking creatively about ways to deliver great value for our commissioned services. We are a small charity with a big ambition, putting our customers at the heart of what we do.
Joining us at an exciting time of change you’ll have plenty of opportunity to test and develop your leadership and management expertise. In this crucial role, your focus will be business performance across the operational contracts. You’ll work across four different streams – IT, Finance, Fundraising and Property – to develop and deliver a unified strategy and Quality Assurance model for the operational contracts. Supporting managers as well as the directors, you’ll drive forward a collective vision and ensure we meet all performance, quality and budgetary targets.
Most likely from a local authority or public sector background, with experience of using Salesforce platforms – you’ll have broad management experience, including developing and managing business processes and systems to achieve continuous improvement. You’ll have a track-record of multi-disciplinary project management, research and analysis, policy review, organisational change and financial management. The ability to build relationships and influence at a senior level is essential.
