RAFFLE PRIZES NEEDED TO RAISE £5,000 TO SUPPORT HOMELESSNESS

RAFFLE PRIZES NEEDED TO RAISE £5,000 TO SUPPORT HOMELESSNESS

SPEAR is launching a raffle in February 2020 to raise funds to help people experiencing homelessness.

Through distributing raffle ticket books and tickets to local businesses, supporters and volunteers, SPEAR aims to raise £5,000 from raffle sales.

£5,000 could house someone who has experienced homelessness for six months. In addition, £5,000 could support a Rough Sleeper Outreach Worker to help around 40 rough sleepers.

The raffle will be drawn at SPEAR’s Garden Party being held at the beautiful surroundings of Trumpeters’ House on the afternoon of Sunday 7th June.

Prizes needed could include theatre, restaurant, days out, make-overs or experience tickets. Gift sets, items signed by famous people, a Meet & Greet, or even a luxury hamper – whatever prizes you think someone might like to win!

All raffle ticket donors will be printed on the tickets and publicised through the raffle.

SPEAR helps people experiencing homelessness in five boroughs including Richmond, Merton, Sutton, Kingston and Wandsworth. Last year, 839 people accessed SPEAR’s services and 158 were provided with supported housing. We delivered nearly 7,000 interventions to prevent homelessness.  SPEAR supports people from homelessness to independence through rough sleeper outreach work, health, education, young people and employment support.
