Resettlement and Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for the position of full time Resettlement and Support Worker to join our recovery team working specifically at one of our hostels as well as covering HMO and long term accommodation project.

This hostel provides accommodation and support for residents with high support needs, the HMO’s provide second stage accommodation for single homeless people.

This role will be responsible for the effective delivery of high quality hostel accommodation and appropriate resettlement for homeless people in line with SPEAR’s policies and procedures. This role will provide advice, support, motivation, crisis intervention and future planning appropriate to the expressed needs of our Hostel residents.

We are looking for an individual with relevant experience who is able to work within a busy hostel environment with the availability to work shifts, including early morning, late evening and weekends.

We are looking for outstanding candidates to fill a 12 month fixed term contracted position. This role will be reporting to the Hostel Leader.

SALARY: £25,000 per annum
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
CLOSING DATE: Monday 29th July 2019 (10:00am)
