Congratulations to Annemarie, Lucy, Roopak, Jamie and Mudasi, SPEAR’s volunteer team of 5 trainee health professionals. They were the winners of the recognition award, presented by former newsreader Martyn Lewis, for their Team Up 2015/16 Health and Well-being Project.
This team of trainee doctors and psychiatrists from ‘Team Up’ volunteered their time to work with the Homeless Health Link Service team over the past 6-8 months. They developed a mental health screening tool to be used with clients. They also had to design a poster to showcase their project.
The celebration and awards event was held on 18th May in Central London, with former newsreader Martyn Lewis speaking and presenting the awards. Out of 17 extraordinary teams and projects, the SPEAR team won!
This is really a fantastic achievement and recognition of all the hard work that these five young people have put in, whilst juggling their huge workloads and varying shifts. Well done!
