Volunteer with SPEAR and you’ll be joining a dedicated community of people who make a real difference.

If you’re interested in one of these volunteer roles, please complete the application form and we’ll be in touch to discuss next steps. We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds, particularly those who have first-hand experience of homelessness.

To help you get the most our of your experience, we will:
- Always treat you with respect, consideration and appreciation.
- Give you a thorough induction and ongoing training, and support. Update you on how your support has made a difference.
- Ensure you have a clear idea of your volunteer role, responsibilities and commitment.
- Welcome your feedback, positive or negative, to improve our work.
- Aim to deal with any questions, queries or difficulties promptly.
- Support you if and when sensitive issues arise and recognise the important contribution that you make.
