Homeless Health Link Service shortlisted at Community Heroes Awards

This evening our Homeless Health Link Service was shortlisted in the Communities together category at Richmond Council’s Community Heroes Awards.

The Communities together category recognises a community group, charity, or organisation that has made a significant contribution to fostering equalities and inclusion in Richmond upon Thames, through local work that breaks down existing barriers and connects our communities.

We were nominated for the work of our volunteers, in partnership with local health colleagues, to help address the barriers people experiencing homelessness face when accessing healthcare services and supporting them to receive the appropriate care and improve their quality of life.

We are proud that the great work of the team, our volunteers and local health colleagues has been recognised in this way.

We’d like to congratulate all the other shortlisted groups and Learning English at Home who won the category.
