Make a Splash for SPEAR at the Richmond Swimathon
We’re delighted to once again take part in the annual Richmond Swimathon, thanks to the support of Twickenham Rotary. This is your chance to dive in, enjoy a fun challenge and raise vital funds for SPEAR’s work tackling homelessness across London.
On Sunday 2 November at Teddington Swimming Pool, you can:
- Swim solo or join forces with family, friends or colleagues
- Form a team of up to 10 people
- Take turns swimming as many lengths as you like within the hour
- Get sponsored for every length you swim
This is an inclusive and flexible event – with supervised children welcome as part of a team, and no need to be a strong swimmer. Team members can share the challenge, swapping turns and taking breaks whenever needed.
Not only will you be helping SPEAR support people experiencing homelessness, but every team also contributes to other good causes:
- 70% of sponsorship goes directly to SPEAR projects
- 30% supports Rotary charities in the local community
With only four lanes available per time slot (12 noon until 3pm), spaces will fill up fast – so register your team now to avoid missing out.
