Transforming healthcare access for people experiencing homelessness

We’re really pleased to share the findings from our latest Health & Wellbeing Days evaluation, conducted across South West London from April 2024 to March 2025. With generous funding from the South West London NHS Integrated Care System, we delivered 24 holistic outreach events, engaging 1,677 attendees and breaking down the barriers to accessible, person-centred healthcare for people experiencing homelessness.

The results speak for themselves:

What makes our approach unique?

  • Immediate, practical support: From GP registrations to emergency dental and hospital appointments, people left our events with solutions, not just information.
  • Whole-person care: Attendees accessed a broad range of services, including mental health, podiatry, and alternative therapies – all in one welcoming, community setting.

“This service is a life saver for many situations physically and mentally.”

  • Social connection and community: Events fostered a vital sense of belonging and inclusion, combating isolation and boosting confidence.
  • Volunteer power: Our volunteers, many with lived experience, built trust and broke down barriers, helping others while gaining skills and support themselves.

We also saw new partnerships and collaboration between agencies, helping to shape more responsive services for our community and demonstrating the power of coordinated effort.

Thank you to our partners, funders, staff and – most importantly – everyone who attended and contributed to the heart of this project.
