Our Homeless Health Link Service organised a successful Health and Wellbeing Day at York House in Richmond on Wednesday 9 of November.

The day aimed to provide access to health and wellbeing services to people experiencing homelessness and seeking asylum in South West London.

85 people attending to receive boosters and flu jabs, fibroscans, blood borne viruses testing, breast screening, referrals to Richmond Community Drug and Alcohol Service, Spectra and more. Our volunteer GP also saw over 10 people.

On the day, people were also offered wellbeing services such as haircuts and breathing mindfulness sessions.

A big thank you to all the volunteers, NHS South West London, Richmond Council, Vineyard Community, Wandsworth Drug & Alcohol Service, Ruils Independent Living, Sheperd’s Star, Healthwatch Richmond, Spectra, Haircuts 4 Homeless, Q Cut, Refuge, the Mulberry Centre, and everyone who helped us make the day a success!
