SPEAR’s Homeless Health Link Service celebrates new funding from the National Lottery Community Fund

This month, we are delighted to celebrate the start of a new three-year funding award from the National Lottery Community Fund towards our Homeless Health Link Service.

This funding will enable us to address the many barriers people experiencing homelessness face when accessing healthcare, supporting them to receive appropriate care and improve their quality of life.

It offers clients tailored, one-to-one support, help with accessing digital services, support during health appointments, access to a volunteer doctor at SPEAR as well as health drop-in days run in partnership with the NHS where they can access a variety of support.

Drawing on the experience of people who have experienced homelessness, this project aims to improve people’s physical and mental health, and strengthen communities by working in partnership with other organisations to better address the health needs of people experiencing homelessness

"We’re thrilled to announce that SPEAR has received funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to continue our vital homeless health project. This funding will ensure the people we work with get the support they need to improve their health and wellbeing. Thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund!"
